HOUSE RULES
- Full payment of the reservation must be made by check-in if not already paid in advance. See the Cancellation Policy below for details on rate specific payment timing.
- Smoking, vaping, and the use of any combustible product is not permitted anywhere on the property, including in guest rooms, on balconies, or on the grounds. Violations carry a $500 penalty charged to the credit card on file.
- The Inn is not responsible for damage to or loss of guest personal belongings.
- Damage caused during the stay — including but not limited to wine stains, burns, cuts, and damage to furnishings, fixtures, or property — will be charged to the credit card on file.
- The Inn reserves the right of admission and continued occupancy. Disruptive, dangerous, or unlawful conduct is grounds for immediate departure without refund.
- Children under 12 are not permitted in guest rooms.
- Only registered guests are permitted in guest rooms.
- Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
- The Inn is not responsible for personal injury occurring on or off the property, or during transit, tours, or activities outside the property.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Please review carefully, exceptions are rare. The Inn offers two rate types, and the applicable cancellation terms depend on the rate selected at booking.
- Non-Refundable Rate. Charged in full at the time of booking. No refunds will be issued for cancellation, modification, no-show, or early departure. This rate is offered at a discount in exchange for its non-refundable terms.
- Flexible Rate. A 50% deposit is collected at booking, with the balance due at check-in. Refunds as follows:
- More than 10 days prior to arrival: 100% refund of any amounts paid.
- 5 to 10 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of any amounts paid.
- Less than 5 days prior to arrival: no refund.
- Early Departure. No refund will be issued for unspent nights, regardless of rate selected or reason for departure.
- No-Show. The full reservation amount will be charged and is non-refundable, regardless of rate selected.
- Submitting a Cancellation. All cancellation requests must be sent by email to info@TheHarlowHouse.com with the reservation number. The Inn will confirm cancellation by return email.
Pet Policy
- Dogs only, in designated pet rooms only — maximum two (2) dogs per room. No cats, birds, reptiles, or other animals. No weight limit.
- Pet fee: $100 per dog, per stay, non-refundable. Pets must be declared at booking; undeclared pets incur a $300 penalty per animal in addition to the pet fee and any damages, and may result in immediate departure without refund.
- Each dog must be house-trained, current on rabies vaccination and parasite prevention, and have no history of biting or aggression. Proof of vaccination must be provided on request.
- Dogs may not be left alone in the guest room at any time. Dogs must be leashed at all times outside the guest room.
- The Inn provides complimentary pet sheets, which must be used on any furniture, bedding, or linens the dog accesses. Damage to furniture, bedding, or linens is charged to the credit card on file at actual repair or replacement cost.
- Guest authorizes the Inn to charge the credit card on file for any damages, additional cleaning, or documented lost revenue caused by the dog(s).
- Guest assumes full responsibility for the actions of the dog(s) on the property. The Inn is not responsible for injury, illness, or loss to the dog during the stay.
- Service animals as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act and New York Civil Rights Law § 47-b are welcome in all guest rooms without a pet fee. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, and companion animals are not service animals under those laws and are subject to this Pet Policy.
- A separate Pet Policies Agreement applies and must be signed via digital check-in for any guest traveling with a dog.
